FSU football: Ranking 2024 transfer portal players by impact potential
By Kelvin Hunt
Potential Difference-Makers (in no order)
- Malik Benson-I like Benson to have the biggest impact among the FSU receivers in 2024. If he could replicate what Johnny Wilson did in either of the past two years, that would be outstanding. I expect he'll be able to do it provided he stays healthy.
- Earl Little Jr.-My guy in the nickel corner position is one reason Greedy Vance likely transferred to USC. He's an ultra-talented technician who'll get better as the season progresses. He should help mitigate several top receivers on opposing teams.
- DJ Uiagalelei-Uiagalelei will be much better than people think. I wrote about it here.
- Marvin Jones Jr.-MJJ in a defensive front that will take advantage of his natural talent, unlike the 3-4 defense at Georgia. We've seen two crazy talented guys from the portal go crazy in Adam Fuller's defense, and MJJ will be no different.
- Sione Lolohea-A proven commodity and former Pac-12 All-Conference player. Lolohea gets lost in the shuffle among the top transfers, but he'll provide excellent snaps and no drop-off once he's in the game.
