FSU football: Post-spring camp power rankings for all ACC teams
By Kelvin Hunt
No. 14
Virginia Cavaliers (3-9, 2-6 ACC)
The Virginia Cavaliers have been downright terrible in the first two seasons under former Clemson offensive coordinator Tony Elliot. The Cavaliers have won three games in his first two seasons, winning one ACC game in 2022 and two in 2023. However, they had four losses by three points or less and beat No. 10 North Carolina in a huge upset. They should have beaten Miami on the road but lost in overtime.
They also played No. 12 Tennessee, NC State, and No. 11 Louisville. They didn't have a cakewalk schedule like Louisville, and they are not the most talented team. However, Elliot may have found something at quarterback, and it'll be put up or shut up going into his third year. However, their 2024 schedule doesn't do them any favors, especially on the back half.
