Recruiting

FSU has always competed for top talent in the recruiting world because it's logistically in one of the most fertile areas in the nation. Over the past few seasons, it became easy for opposing teams like Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Miami, and others to negatively recruit FSU because they were not sending players to the NFL at a high rate. If you talk to recruits, that's the No. 1 goal for the majority. That will be one less negative pitch FSU will have to deal with on the recruiting trail. FSU will likely have more guys drafted than Miami, Clemson, Alabama, and Florida. They are not all one-year rentals from the transfer portal, as some rival fans like to spout.

Braden Fiske, Jaheim Bell, and Keon Coleman are the only three guys who only spent one season at FSU, and the latter was the only one on any NFL Draft radars before this season. The other guys spent at least two years at FSU, showing incredible development and production on the field. What's crazy? FSU coaches can point to what those guys did before they got to FSU and then to the development and production that got them an NFL Combine invitation. How do you think recruits and top portal guys will react to that? Very positively.
