FSU football: Mock recruiting class before Early Signing Period
THOUGHTS
At the end of the day, head football coach Mike Norvell and company should feel very satisfied with the recruiting class that they constructed based on this mock.
While they potentially lost out on acquiring two five-star defensive linemen in Armondo Blount and LJ McCray as well as five-star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith (who was considered a luxury at the position), the Seminoles were able to keep the likes of five-star safety KJ Bolden and five-star cornerback Charles Lester III as well as adding four-star Amaree Williams.
As I alluded to in a previous article about the acquisition of defensive end transfer Marvin Jones Jr., winning can certainly cure a ton of things. Norvell has Florida State headed in the right direction in terms of a culture standpoint as well as acquiring talented prospects via the recruiting trail as well as the transfer portal for his roster.
If the Seminoles can continue to stack above-average recruiting classes together as well as fill necessary holes with experienced weapons in the transfer portal, Florida State can be forced to be reckoned with for a long time.
