FSU football: Impact players versus Georgia Bulldogs
QB BROCK GLENN
No Jordan Travis, Tate Rodemaker, or AJ Duffy? No problem.
Fear not, as true freshman Brock Glenn is here to take the reins of the starting quarterback duties for the Seminoles. The former Class of 2023 four-star signal caller had his moments in the preseason before injuring his thumb in the contest versus Southern Miss.
This was a bummer as the coaching staff had high hopes for Glenn to be a successful quarterback in their system to push Rodemaker. However, the Tennessee native was able to come back right in time for the ACC Championship Game versus Louisville when the redshirt junior Tate Rodemaker was battling concussion symptoms.
Glenn certainly was not playing well after completing only 8 of his 21 pass attempts for 55 yards. This was to be expected, given that it was his first-ever collegiate start and he was having to get acclimating after suffering an injury earlier in the season. Nonetheless, Glenn did not lose confidence in himself as he continued to maintain his poise and avoided turning the football over.
He will have to do the same thing against an aggressive Georgia Bulldogs defensive unit that will look to take the football away.
