An Opportunity For Others

It's next man up at the wide receiver position for FSU this spring. It's a position where they have a ton of talent, some proven more than others, but the coaching staff needs guys to separate themselves from the pack. Since Hill was one of the guys they were hoping to emerge, his setback will provide an opportunity for someone else to take advantage of the practice reps he'll miss. Malik Benson, Jalen Brown, Vandrevius Jacobs, Hykeem Williams, Camden Frier, and others are a few names that come to mind.

FSU has some veteran guys who have dealt with injuries that could take advantage of the situation. Darion Williamson and Kentron Poitier dealt with injuries that cost them the majority of last season. I'm not saying it's do-or-die for those guys, but they can't allow one of the younger guys to ascend the depth chart this spring if they plan to be contributors this fall.
