TE

Starter: Kyle Morlock, Jackson West

Top Backups: Bryan Courtney, Landen Thomas

FSU added two talented tight ends from the portal before the 2023 season, and both contributed to FSU's success on the field. Jaheim Bell took his talents to the NFL, and Kyle Morlock returns as the most experienced tight end on the FSU roster. Jackson West emerged as Bell dealt with injuries late last season. West has always been physical but struggled to make catches. He looked to take the next step in the spring game as a viable option in the passing game. Bryan Courtney is a guy with excellent physical attributes continuing to learn the position after playing QB and defense in high school. Former five-star freshman Landen Thomas is a player Mike Norvell indicated they plan to fast-track, and I expect him to make contributions as he progresses through the season.

Offensive line

Starters: LT Darius Washington, LG TJ Ferguson, C Maurice Smith, RG Keiondre Jones, and RT Jeremiah Byers

Top Backups: Richie Leonard, Jaylen Early, Robert Scott, Julian Armella, Bryson Estes, Lucas Simmons

I really like this starting five. That's a bunch of grown men with a ton of experience ready to road grade guys in the run game. It should be the best offensive line Mike Norvell and Alex Atkins have fielded since arriving at FSU. They should have quality depth, with Jaylen Early and Julian Armella looking to become contributors after two years in the program. Richie Leonard, Robert Scott(if healthy), and Bryson Estes have several years in college. Lucas Simmons is likely still raw but has unlimited potential.
