Running back

Starter: Roydell Williams, Lawrance Toafili

Top Backups: Caziah Holmes, Sam Singleton, Kam Davis, Jaylin Lucas

Mike Norvell rarely rides one running back and I don't expect this season to be any different. It'll likely be a running back via committee attack. Roydell Williams didn't transfer to ride the bench and Toafili is too valuable to waste in his final season. FSU likes to use multiple formations, and we'll likely see all of these guys on the field at one time or another. However, I anticipate Williams as the do-it-all type back with Toafili used in his usual Swiss Army knife roll. The backups will fit similar roles, with Holmes, Singleton, and Davis similar to Williams, and Lucas similar to Toafili.

WR

Starters: Malik Benson, Kentron Poitier, Hykeem Williams, Ja'Khi Douglas

Top Backups: Darion Williamson, Deuce Spann, Jalen Brown, Lawayne McCoy, Destyn Hill(injured)

FSU football is young at wide receiver after losing their top two guys to the NFL. It's why the Noles got former No. 1 JUCO WR Malik Benson from the transfer portal and hope Kentron Poitier, Hykeem Williams, and veteran Ja'Khi Douglas can stay healthy and contribute. All three dealt with injuries last year. The same can be said for Darion Williamson and Deuce Spann. FSU brought in a great 2024 freshman class, and Lawayne McCoy may be the freshman closest to contributing right now.
