Transfer Portal Players
Johnny Wilson-A former blue-chip high school recruit, who had a career high of 12 receptions for 154 yards and one touchdown at Arizona State before entering the portal and transferring to FSU football. Wilson is on record stating FSU was the only school that wanted him when he was in the portal. T

Jordan Travis-I don't think I have to explain how the coaching staff developed Jordan Travis as a quarterback. He went from a guy the previous coaching staff wouldn't even play, to a Heisman Trophy contender. It wasn't always peaches and cream with Mike Norvell for Jordan Travis, as he shared time with James Blackman in 2020 and McKenzie Milton in 2021. However, once Jordan Travis became the permanent starter towards the middle of 2021, the development we saw might be the biggest jump in level of play I've ever seen. Jordan Travis went from an athlete running around making something happen to a quarterback that will get drafted by an NFL team. If you said the latter in 2020, most folks would have laughed at you.
