Jaheim Bell
FSU tight end Kalen Jaheim Bell went into the NFL Combine needing to display his speed, quickness, and explosiveness because of his smaller stature. Bell measured at 6'2" and 241 pounds. Bell finished tied for the third-fastest 40 times at 4.61(same as Keon Coleman) with the second-fastest 10-yard split (1.58). Bell tied for the fourth-highest vertical at 35" and had the third-highest broad jump at 10'4". Bell didn't participate in the 3-cone drill, 20-yard shuttle, or the bench press.

Jaheim Bell is a TE prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored an unofficial 8.50 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 167 out of 1105 TE from 1987 to 2024.

Bell is clearly undersized for a typical tight end but has the athleticism to be a mismatch against linebackers and in open space. Bell was likely on the fringe of getting drafted, but I think he did enough to hear his name called next month. Former FSU great tight end Nick O'Leary was only 6'3" with shorter arms and much slower. He was drafted in the sixth round and played in the NFL for five years.
