I'm aware FSU lost a ton of guys that have been key to the team's success over the past 2-3 seasons. However, I know the coaching staff evaluates for fit on and off the field. They evaluate how well a prep or transfer portal player will fit into the team chemistry and allow current players to give input on the additions. The current players are the best recruits on the team because they give the real to guys showing interest in the program. As I've mentioned, the coaching staff did a splendid job finding guys with experience, and production.

They got guys mostly from programs with a winning culture. Those things are important when adding new players to a team, as it allows them to assimilate into the team more easily. One of my favorite things about the caliber of players added to the roster is how it will breed competition. There are guys on the roster fighting for starting positions or even a roster spot. This competition will bring out the best and get the right guys on the bus when fall camp starts.
