FSU football: 5 major takeaways from 2024 football schedule

Ironically, FSU will have seven home games in 2024 while renovating Doak Campbell Stadium to upgrade it and make it smaller. When I found out the Noles would have that many home games, but got concerned about the turnout. It's not like Tallahassee is the easiest place to get to, and it's difficult for fans to make back-to-back trips since many come from long distances. It's a nine-hour trip one-way for me from North Carolina. However, I think the ACC did a solid job spacing out the home games.
FSU only has back-to-back home games twice, which should give fans some breathing room. The spacing of the games should help the local economy more than if they were all stacked closer together also. It's not an amazing home slate. It's not like many Boston College, Memphis, California, or Charleston Southern fans will show up for the games. However, having Clemson and Florida as home games is always cool. Also, it'll be a prime opportunity to get revenge on North Carolina. The last time they came to Tallahassee, it didn't end well for the Noles(I was there).
