Stayed True to Florida and Georgia

I wrote about the need for FSU football to return to its roots in the fertile recruiting grounds of Florida and Georgia a couple of years ago, and that's what the coaching staff has done more and more each year they've been at FSU. The 2024 recruiting class was nearly completing from those two states. Not only did the staff concentrate on quantity, but they also signed some of the best players from each of those states. How about this?

17 of the 22 signees hail from either the Peach or the Sunshine State. Out of 17 players from those two states, FSU signed the No. 9, 11, 12 players in Georgia and the No. 9, 14, 16, 18, 27, 40, and 69 players in Florida. That's a ton of talent, which doesn't include one of the top kickers and several offensive linemen, which are historically hard to rank well.
