Loyalty

Mike Norvell had the perfect opportunity to leave FSU earlier this year. He had just gone 13-0, winning an ACC Championship, and the opportunity to leave to go to another storied program with more resources in Alabama. The program the College Football Committee placed ahead of FSU to create the snub. The fact that Mike Norvell decided to stay at FSU instead of taking that opportunity tells me we have a guy that wants to be at FSU.

Another form of loyalty is to the staff he put together and kept together through the tough times to climb back to the top. How would it have looked had he "fired" guys after going undefeated and getting 10 guys selected in the 2024 NFL Draft? How do you think guys who would have been potential hires would view him? This is an aspect Norvell can use when he decides to change his staff. He's proven he can win at FSU at an elite level and should be able to attract better candidates compared to win he took the FSU job without proof he could do it on the biggest stages.
