FSU Recruiting Area

The bloodline of any elite football program is the ability to recruit at an elite level. Nowadays, that's more than high school recruiting. Coaches have to navigate both oceans and likely one of the reasons Nick Saban decided to call it a day when you combine all of the NIL stuff. FSU has proven under several coaches it's a place that can attract elite talent and win national titles.

Heck, Mike Norvell has finally gotten established in the Sunshine and Peach State after navigating recruiting things virtually for the first year and a half of his time at FSU due to the pandemic. He has killed the portal better than anyone, and FSU currently is the only college football program with a top 10 recruiting class in the portal and among the high school ranks. What would be the point of moving to Alabama, but still having to recruit the same area for top talent? The easiest thing would be to sell what he's been building at FSU.
