Tight End

FSU will start the 2024 season with one tight end with proven production, Kyle Morlock. Morlock had 19 receptions for 255 yards but could leave for the NFL Draft after the 2024 season. Jackson West enters the 2024 season as a redshirt junior with limited playing time. Brian Courtney will enter the season as a junior with one reception in his career. Jerrale Powers will enter the 2024 season as a redshirt sophomore and no career receptions.

The Noles signed Landen Thomas, arguably the top tight end in the 2024 recruiting cycle. He is an early enrollee but will likely take time to contribute. There could be attrition at this position after the spring if one of these upperclassmen gets passed up by Thomas(not far-fetched). Jaheim Bell declaring for the NFL Draft and Markeston Douglas transferring to Arizona State left a void of talent and depth. It'll be important to likely take 1-2 high-caliber tight ends in the 2025 recruiting cycle if possible.
