FSU football: 3 ways 2024 team is similar to 2015, 3 ways they're better

2024 Will Have A Better Offense Overall
The 2015 offense averaged 31.7 points per game and finished the season No. 26 according to FEI advanced metrics. I think FSU will have better quarterback play overall. Uiagalelei will be more of a factor in the run game than Golson or Maguire, which should help open the passing game more. The 2024 offensive line will be better and deeper. FSU will have better tight-end play with Kyle Morlock, Jackson West, and potentially Landen Thomas. FSU has a crazy deep stable of running backs to lean on, with some capable of hitting the home run play, similar to Dalvin Cook.
Jimbo Fisher was great in his time but was stubborn in many ways, limiting FSU offensively. He settled for too many field goals, and Mike Norvell is much more aggressive in that area, which will likely lead to more scoring opportunities. Mike Norvell is also more adaptive with his offense and not afraid to get creative and do whatever it takes to move the chains. This offense will be better on third down,, besting the 38 percent conversion rate in 2015. These factors, and DJ Uiagalelei and all of the new transfers enrolling in the spring will help make this offense better than in 2015.
