No. 2 Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

The wide receiver and tight-end room might be the biggest question mark going into the season. Which players consistently make plays? Most believe Malik Benson will be the No. 1 receiver and Kyle Morlock will be the No. 1 tight end, but what other options emerge? Does Hykeem Williams begin to take that next step? Will one of Darion Williamson, Kentron Poitier, Deuce Spann, or Jackson West emerge?

Freshman Lawayne McCoy has gotten a lot of praise in fall camp and flashed in the spring. Could he begin to creep up on the depth chart with a solid scrimmage? Freshman tight-end Amaree Williams is another guy who has gotten a lot of praise in recent weeks after arriving this summer. Does he continue to flash? Consistency is the keyword for this group. FSU has a great secondary, so we must keep that in mind, but can the receivers win in 1-on-1 situations? Do they avoid dropping multiple passes? All these are areas where this group must show improvement.
