CLEMSON TIGERS

Florida State defeated the Clemson Tigers last season in Death Valley by a score of 31-24 in overtime. The forced fumble by former linebacker Kalen DeLoach as well as a terrific performance by former wide receiver Keon Coleman. However, both contributors are gone to the NFL now.

The 2024 squad looks completely different as they added forty newcomers to the team this offseason. One notable piece is quarterback transfer DJ Uiagalelei, who previously played with the Clemson Tigers. Uiagalelei was benched in favor of current quarterback Cade Klubinik.

The former five-star prospect had a tremendous showing against the Seminoles in their 2022 matchup where the Tigers defeated Florida State by a score of 34-28. Uiagalelei completed 15 of his 23 passes for 203 passing yards and four total touchdowns.

Can he make a repeat performance in Doak Campbell Stadium when Clemson comes to town? It won't be easy with the Tigers possibly catching their stride again after they dismantled Appalachian State by a score of 66-20.
