NO TURNOVERS ON OFFENSE

Florida State football did not record any turnovers on the offensive side of the football on Saturday. That is a positive and a negative as some individuals suggested that the offense did not take enough chances downfield.

Some individuals suggested that transfer quarterback DJ Uiagalelei played poorly. He completed 19 of his 27 passes for 193 yards with zero touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Uiagalelei has never been one to throw a ton of interceptions as he threw 15 of them throughout two seasons at Clemson and Oregon State. However, his strong suit has been his ability to utilize his strong arm to get the football in his wide receiver's hands.

Nonetheless, you have to commend DJ for not putting the football in harm's way when it felt like the defense was bringing a ton of pressure and the Georgia Tech offense could not be stopped. He could have easily tried to do too much.
