FSU football: 3 must's for the Seminoles in home game versus Boston College
2. EMBRACE DE SIONE LOLOHEA IN THE ROTATION
Florida State was getting gashed by Georgia Tech's rushing attack where they allowed almost 200 yards on the ground. It seemed like the Seminoles could not get a stop when they needed it the most.
Most of the time, the coaching staff was utilizing Patrick Payton and Marvin Jones Jr. as defensive ends in the scheme. Both individuals are very talented and have a knacked for getting after the passer. However, Georgia Tech's offensive gameplan called for spreading the defense out and misdirecting to keep the unit honest.
In the offseason, defensive ends coach John Papuchis called redshirt senior Sione Lolohea "a tough, physical presence, especially in the run game".
Lolohea could have been used more against Georgia Tech since the Seminoles knew what they wanted to do and couldn't stop it. They face a similar challenge with Boston College as they have a dual-threat signal-caller Thomas Castellanos and a talented rusher Treshaun Ward.
