FSU football: 3 major takeaways from Mike Norvell signing 8-year extension
By Kelvin Hunt
This Extension Should Turn The Tide For FSU
It feels like FSU has run through a gauntlet over the past month. The College Football Playoff Committee snub, a couple of missing on Early Signing Day, the Orange Bowl, Mike Norvell leaving rumors, and the NCAA handing down some bogus penalties for something FSU shouldn't have been penalized for all happened in the last 40 days. Mike Norvell signing this long extension should stabilize things for the foreseeable future, and FSU will look to wrap up its 2024 recruiting class with a few more portal visitors over the next few days.
They could add 1-or -2 guys after the spring, depending on who is available and what the roster needs to look like. However, FSU should start its Tour of Duty before long, followed by spring practice. FSU will have a lot of new faces, but the interest in the program is at a fever pitch with all of the new additions. FSU looks to be reloading instead of rebuilding for 2024. Stay tuned FSU football fans, it's a great day to be a Nole!
