FSU football: 3 HUGE overreactions from upset loss against Georgia Tech

Did the FSU defense play up to our expectations? They didn't come close, but the loss was more on the offense than the defense. FSU was solid against the pass overall, but the concerning thing was their struggle against the run. Here's the thing. Georgia Tech had seven offensive drives, scoring on four, and two got sparked by HUGE plays because of missed tackles or a player not playing their assignment(Omar Graham).
The defensive line got pushed around more than I'd like, but that's one of the better offensive lines FSU will face. However, the linebacker play outside of a couple of guys was bad. The defensive ends didn't set the edges well. I expected the tackling to be bad because it was one of the five things I highlighted they needed to do to limit the Georgia Tech defense. They didn't, and it cost them. The good news is tackling can and will improve. These other things can improve with reps and film study. They can also limit guys who perform poorly in the future. A better question might be, why continue to put him in the game?
