FSU is the biggest draw on TV in the ACC

I wonder if fans of other teams understand why FSU is always in prime-time games. Do they know why FSU games are rarely on the ACC Network and instead on ESPN or ABC? FSU had ONE game on the ACC Network in 2023, and that game was a night game against Southern Mississippi. They had one game on The CW against Northern Alabama, but every other game was on ESPN or ABC, with several in prime-time slots. There's a reason FSU fans nicknamed FSU the "Box office Boys," because they're the team everyone wants to watch.

FSU had 3.58 million TV views last season (No. 7 nationally), which was by far the most in the conference. Clemson was No. 2 with 1.70 million. Imagine what TV views for teams like Wake Forest, Boston College, and Syracuse would look like if they didn't play FSU or Clemson nearly every year when the ACC had divisions. I can assure you nobody is tuning in to watch any of those teams play. There's a reason those teams get stuck on the ACC Network and not in prime-time matchups.
