FSU football: 3 EASY ways to improve offense next week against Boston College

More RPO
Another thing FSU can turn to is more RPO plays. Some of these plays below are not RPO, but some of the passing concepts are common with them. One throw DJ Uiagalelei can make in his sleep is the pass he completes to Malik Benson on fourth down on FSU's final scoring drive. It's something he has done well since his days at Clemson. The RPO also helps slow the defensive players cheating to come downhill against the run game.
I know Mike Norvell wants to establish the running game, but he'll likely need to use the pass to make that happen. Teams will look at the Georgia Tech game and force FSU to put the ball in the air. Mike Norvell can be stubborn and continue to be predictable or see what DJ Uiagalelei can do. I'd spend all week repping passing plays he's comfortable with and helping to build his and the receiver's confidence. Otherwise, we're going to continue to get frustrated by running into the teeth of defenses.
