FSU football: 16 players who could be selected in 2025 NFL Draft
By Kelvin Hunt
Marvin Jones Jr.
Junior Marvin Jones Jr. arrived in Tallahassee this spring after two years with the Georgia Bulldogs where he battled injuries and played in a 3-4 defensive scheme that didn't maximize his ability. He played in 25 games with one start at Georgia with limited production. He'll be draft-eligible in 2025 and could hear his name called with a monster 2024 season, much like Jared Verse could have left after the 2022 season. Will he return for the 2025 season?
Who knows, and it'll depend on how the 2024 season goes. However, FSU has a track record for taking transfer defensive ends and turning them into First-Round NFL Draft picks. Jones Jr. is a former five-star recruit, and his father is an all-time FSU great and former NFL player. The bloodlines are there, and it's all about Jones Jr. staying healthy and putting up the production to make it happen. By all accounts, he's on track to do that by what he's looked like in spring camp.
