FSU football: 16 players who could be selected in 2025 NFL Draft

Malik Benson

Senior wide receiver Malik Benson arrived in Tallahassee this spring after one year at Alabama. The former No. 1 JUCO player nationally is listed at 6'1" and 195 pounds, with ELITE speed. Benson didn't have a ton of production at Alabama, but that likely was more about Alabama's offense and poor QB play. Benson had great production in junior college and fits Mike Norvell's offense perfectly. If there's anything NFL teams covet the most, it's speed, and that will be Benson's calling card if he has solid production in 2024.

There's no reason to think he won't, as former transfer receivers have had great success under Mike Norvell in year one after going through spring, summer, and fall camp. Benson looked fine in the spring game before he got hurt and shouldn't be out too long. He has the perfect pairing with strong-armed DJ Uiagalelei and Norvell's ability to scheme, guys, wide-open. I think Benson had a solid 2024, set the NFL Combine ablaze, and is NFL bound in 2025.
