FSU baseball: 3 keys to defeating UConn Huskies in Super Regionals

FSU baseball moved through the Tallahassee Regional while only trailing for five innings in the three games needed to move to the Super Regionals. FSU has had one of the better offenses nationally all season, and the pitching was the biggest question mark heading into regionals. However, the pitching was the unit that shined the brightest, as the offense ran hot and cold at times. The Noles will face the UConn Huskies in the Tallahassee Super Regional beginning on Friday at noon. The Huskies came out of the Oklahoma Regional as the No. 3 seed, knocking off the host team and No. 9 overall seed Oklahoma twice.

FSU is the betting favorite to win the Super Regional at -330. That means you would have to bet $330 to win $100. FSU has the third-best odds to win the National Title at +550. That means if you bet $100, you'd win $550. However, UConn isn't bad and is similar to the UCF team FSU beat twice in the Tallahassee Regional. They play good defense, are scrappy offensively, and have one of the better pitching staffs going into the Field of 64. FSU should win this Super Regional if they don't beat themselves.
