FOUR-STAR ATH ASHARRI CHARLES

First on the Q&A is Class of 2026 four-star athlete Asharri Charles from Venice High School in Venice, Florida.

Q: Who/what inspired you to play the game of football?

A: "It was my mom that got me started at a young age and I fell in love ever since."

Q: How did it feel coming down to Tallahassee to attend their camp?

A: "The camp was great! Had a ton of fun and I picked up some new moves to add to my arsenal for this upcoming season."

Q: What makes Florida State stand out in your recruitment? Any coaches that you have a relationship with and what is their message to you?

A: "They make me feel like I am at home and how everything is close like a huge family. Coach JP (John Papuchis) is my guy and he tells me if I keep rapidly getting better like I am I will be one of, if not, the best edge rushers in the country"

Q: Do you have any return trips planned to come back to Tallahassee?

A: "As of right now, no, but I will try getting back up there later on this summer for sure."

Q: What is it like having Florida State be your first-ever offer?

A: "It was one of the best experiences, it really helped me process and understand that I can and will be one of those next big-time guys."
