. Jarrian Jones. Jarrian Jones. FSU NFL Draft. Cornerback. 10. . Round 4, Pick 127. 127. player

There are a lot of cornerbacks in the draft, but that is a position a lot of teams need to fill. The Texans have a great offense, one that could be the scariest in the league, but their defense is not making a lot of people tremble right now. They can afford to beef up their defensive line and linebacker core in the first couple of rounds, but with the number of cornerbacks in the draft, they can get quality ones in the later rounds.

Jarrian Jones is not at the top of any draft boards, but he is a quality cornerback that teams can afford to wait till later rounds to get. His 4.38 40-yard dash time shows he has speed and ability to keep up with quick receivers. He also has the speed to get off the line and surprise the quarterback on blitzes.

With how young the Texans are, Jones could be a great fit in the defense and add depth to the cornerback roster, especially when they face teams with quicker receivers.
