. Wide Receiver. Johnny Wilson. . 115. FSU NFL Draft. player. 56. Round 4, Pick 115. Johnny Wilson

The Bengals are still pretty good at the wide receiver position behind Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, but there are still questions surrounding what they will do with Higgins and the franchise tag. If they decide to trade him, they will need another receiver to step up quickly, and if they don't trade him, they can have depth if they choose to draft at that position.

Johnny Wilson would be a good addition for both of those reasons in Cincinnati. If they need him to step up in the middle of the season, he will have had time to adjust to the NFL and learn, but if they choose not to trade Higgins, they can have good depth with a young receiver.

Wilson is a big receiver and with the speed that the Bengals have in Chase and Higgins, having a big guy built like a tight end would help. He has things she needs to work on with catching the ball and separating from defenders, but that is something that can be coached. He has good speed, a good catch radius, and knows how to go up and make a catch in the air using his size. The Bengals are also in need of a tight end, so with his size, he could be transitioned to that position.
