FIVE-STAR DE ZION GRADY

Florida State understands the importance of having an impactful pass rusher, given that they have had the luxury of Jermaine Johnson II, Keir Thomas, Jared Verse, and Patrick Payton.

The Seminoles will certainly benefit from gaining transfer prospects such as Marvin Jones Jr. and Tomiwa Durojaiye. However, the defensive end position needs to continue to be replenished. As a wise man once said, you can never have too many pass rushers.

Florida State has unfortunately been hampered by elite defensive end prospects choosing to sign elsewhere on Signing Day such as Rueben Bain Jr., Keldric Faulk, Marvin Jones Jr. (eventually transferred to Florida State), and Armondo Blount.

However, this can be a redemption story for the Seminoles as they can try to sign five-star Zion Grady from Enterprise (AL), who recently de-committed from Alabama. Grady has showcased mutual interest with the Seminoles, but the Georgia Bulldogs have consistently been in the picture.

This would be a massive grab in terms of the perception of defensive end recruiting going forward.
