Florida State football's coaching staff has put its recruiting hat on within its 2025 recruiting class as they recently secured prospects such as four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley, four-star tight end Chase Loftin as well as four-star defensive tackles Kevin Wynn and Myron Charles.

The Seminoles have several highly-touted prospects heavily interested in the program. The coaching staff hosted many recruits on campus in Tallahassee during the June 21st weekend. That weekend was so important since Florida State had many prospects that had the Seminoles as their top school.

The month of July could be a special month for the Seminoles' coaching staff. Here are the decision timelines for a variety of recruits:

4-star CB Gregory "Zae" Thomas: June 30th at 7:34 PM

4-star LB Zaydarius Rainey-Sale: July 1st

4-star LB Gavin Nix: July 1st at 7:00 PM

4-star LB Tavion Wallace: July 2nd at 6:30 PM

4-star IOL Peyton Joseph: July 4th

3-star S Max Redmon: July 9th

5-star OT Josh Petty: August 12th

THOUGHTS

These seven targeted prospects could be very beneficial for the program. These are certain individuals who felt as though head football coach Mike Norvell was only good at acquiring transfer portal prospects but he is continuing to prove the doubters as he aims for his first top ten recruiting class during his tenure in Tallahassee.

Two recruits that I am excited about potentially securing a commitment from are five-star offensive tackle Josh Petty and four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace.

With Petty, the Seminoles need to continue stacking offensive line talent in their rotation. If Florida State wants to become a sustainable elite product on the football field, obtaining highly talented recruits at the line of scrimmage is the way to go. The Tennessee native is a can't-miss prospect.

Wallace is a linebacker prospect that Florida State football fans have been clamoring for a long time. This is a recruit who can effectively stop the run and cover a ton of space in coverage. While the Seminoles run a 4-2-5 defensive scheme, the linebacker position still needs to be valued and the position room needs to continue to get better.
