Florida State now has six commitments in their 2025 recruiting class with five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr., four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley, four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, four-star defensive tackle Kevin Wynn, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

After some individuals were frustrated with the fact that the Seminoles were not securing any commitments, head football coach Mike Norvell and company went to work on the recruiting trail and are starting to capitalize on their huge recruiting weekend.

Overall, the program should see several prospects make their intentions known to Florida State in the coming weeks. It should be an excited for those who are heavily investing in recruiting.

One recruit that should be monitored is four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace from Wayne County High School in Jesup, Georgia. He has been on record in the past naming Florida State as his number one school in his recruitment.

That notion has not changed on Wednesday as Wallace interviewed with Phillip Dukes from On3 where he stated that the Seminoles were still the number one school for him.

Wallace is considered as the 36th-best prospect in the 247Sports rankings. This would be a massive acquisition for the Seminoles as they are battling the likes of other schools such as Florida, Georgia, and Arkansas.

However, Florida State was able to get his last official visit before he announces his decision on July 2nd. This is a bold strategy by the coaching staff as Wallace could have committed to another school before even taking the trip to Tallahassee.

I understand that linebacker recruiting has been a negative talking point amongst the fan base but if linebackers coach Randy Shannon can get Wallace and Pritchard in the class, that would be amazing to build for the future foundation of the position group.
