Calculating FSU football wins needed for College Football Playoff at-large bid

ACC Perception
The way the ACC format works, there are no Atlantic and Coastal Divisions anymore, and the two best ACC teams will meet in the ACC Championship game. The team that wins the ACC will get an automatic bid, but what if FSU goes 10-2 and doesn't make the ACC title game? Their hopes will likely depend on how Clemson and Miami perform out of the ACC. Clemson opens against Georgia, and Miami opens against Florida. If both teams lose those games, it's going to affect how people view the ACC even more. Georgia is near a two-touchdown betting favorite over Clemson.
If the Tigers get boat raced and FSU then loses to Clemson. That's not a good look. If Miami lost to Florida and FSU lost to Miami? See where I'm going with this? I expect FSU to go no worse than 10-2 this season, but it'll depend on where those losses happen and how bad it looks on the scoreboard. If both losses are competitive games, I could see the Noles getting an at-large bid among the top 12 teams as long as their two losses don't have bad losses.
