WIDE RECEIVERS ARE GETTING ADJUSTED

Fans knew that it might be a challenge to replace the likes of big-bodied playmakers such as Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson as they navigated to the NFL. However, the Seminoles did add Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown via the transfer portal this offseason.

Norvell goes in-depth about the position as a whole thus far in fall camp: "The wide receivers have been good but there are still missed opportunities. Malik Benson has been very consistent. Kentron Poitier has had a really good four days. Hykeem Williams has stepped up and Ja'Khi Douglas has had his moments. Deuce Spann responded well today with a big play downfield. I'm excited about Jalen Brown's speed, he is going to be a real player for us."

Overall, that was very encouraging. It is widely known that the number-one wide receiver will likely be former Alabama transfer Malik Benson. Even though Benson only had 162 yards last season with the Crimson Tide, he has been the most consistent. The question is who will emerge alongside him?

It is nice to see Hykeem Williams step up after some inconsistencies along the way. I believe that the wide receiver room will be just fine when the season rolls around.
