Florida State is having the services of the big-bodied playmakers Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman who are off to the NFL. Both Wilson and Coleman helped former signal-caller Jordan Travis have a sense of comfort in the offense in 2023.

However, the Seminoles will be welcoming transfer quarterback DJ Uiagalelei to the offense. The times have changed. Fans understand that Alabama transfer Malik Benson will more than likely be the number-one option in the offense. Even though Benson did not do much for the Crimson Tide in 2023 with 162 yards and one touchdown, he looks to be a focal point in Florida State's offensive scheme.

Mike Norvell and his coaching staff need to find options to be the number-two receiver in the offense. Two options that have emerged in fall camp have been true freshmen playmakers Elijah Moore and Lawayne McCoy.

While I know that it is difficult to rely upon true freshmen to contribute in a meaningful way. The options are limited within the position group. I would not be opposed to the thought process if contributors such as Hykeem Williams, Ja'Khi Douglas, Kentron Poitier, and Jalen Brown do not pan out as the coaching staff thought.
