Florida State football's 2025 recruiting class is starting to catch some momentum as four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley and four-star defensive tackle Kevin Wynn have pledged to the program recently.

The Seminoles seem to always pick up their recruiting commits during the summer months as the coaching staff looks to make an impression on their prospects before their respective high school seasons.

Florida State hosted several recruits on their massive official visitor weekend. There were a ton of prospects who were leaning heavily toward the Seminoles. However, there is likely none bigger in terms of interest than Class of 2025 four-star cornerback Gregory "Zae" Thomas from American Heritage High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Thomas has received several crystal ball predictions in favor of the Seminoles. He has made his intentions known that he values what head football coach Mike Norvell and defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. bring to the table as he has visited Tallahassee several times.

Nonetheless, the program has to finish the job as the talented defender will be making his decision on Sunday, June 30th at 7:34 PM (yes, I know... It is a bit of a random time) between Florida State and Clemson.

With four-star cornerback target Shamar Arnoux from Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia committing to the USC Trojans recently, Thomas is the top remaining target at the position. They need to ensure that they land his services.

During an interview with a variety of media members after his official visit to Florida, Thomas confirmed that the coaching staff liked him as a cornerback instead of a safety. According to recruiting databases, he is listed at 6'2" and 190 pounds where he utilizes his size very well.

If Florida State does land the services of the American Heritage High School standout, I believe that his high school teammate (four-star running back Byron Louis) will follow him to Tallahassee.
