The linebacker position always seems to be a topic of discussion every recruiting cycle. While I don't think the linebacker position is as important as it used to be, today's linebacker is tasked with coming up in run support and covering space in coverage.

Linebackers coach Randy Shannon already got the commitment of four-star prospect Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. That was a tremendous get for the program that wants to continue stacking talent in the room.

However, they are trending nicely for four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace from Wayne County High School in Jesup, Georgia as well. During a recent On3 recruiting event, Wallace named Florida State as the top school in his recruitment.

There are teams like Florida, Georgia, and Arkansas looming in the distance as he makes his decision on July 2nd. The Seminoles need to ensure that Wallace comes to Tallahassee.
