3 true freshmen that could have meaningful snaps during the 2024 season for the Noles
RB KAMERON DAVIS
Florida State will have to replace the likes of do-it-all running back Trey Benson, who recorded 1,800+ yards and 23 touchdowns in his two seasons in Tallahassee. However, running backs coach David Johnson has plenty of options in the position room at his disposal.
One of the more talented options in the Seminoles' 2024 recruiting class is four-star running back Kameron Davis. The talented prospect isn't your typical back. He played all sorts of offensive positions in high school where he was even featured as a Wildcat quarterback.
I understand that the Seminoles added Alabama running back Roydell Williams (thanks Nick Saban...) via the transfer portal. Williams recorded over 500 rushing yards last season for the Crimson Tide. He did not come to Tallahassee for his senior season just to play sparingly.
However, there are a ton of talented bodies in the room such as Lawrance Toafili, Caziah Holmes, Sam Singleton Jr., and Micahi Danzy (who was added in the same recruiting class as Davis but is enrolling this summer). The Georgia native looks like an absolute tank at such a young age. I believe that even though Davis is a true freshman and there are talented pieces at running back, he should find a spot in the rotation this year.
