LACK OF PROVEN VIABLE PLAYMAKERS AT WR

Florida State's coaching staff will have to replace the likes of big-bodied playmakers Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson, who made life easier for quarterback Jordan Travis in critical downs during a football game.

However, in today's landscape of college football, coaches continuously have to replace players who will graduate, transfer, and go to the NFL. During the offseason, Florida State added two transfers for their wide receiver room in Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown.

In the most recent release of the projected depth chart, Benson and Brown were listed as starters at wide receiver. This is a ton of pressure with Benson who only recorded 162 yards during the 2023 season with the Crimson Tide last season. As for Brown, he did not record any statistics last season for the Tigers.

Both of the wide receivers are speedy in the open field, but can DJ Uiagalelei rely on them when he needs the most? What about the other playmakers on the roster?

I could see this being an offense where there could be a ton of short passes to the wide receivers, tight ends, and running backs to get the football in their playmakers' hands.
