1. DJ UIAGALELEI'S FIT IN THE OFFENSE

Let's face it... Whoever was under center for the Seminoles in 2024, it was going to be difficult to navigate through considering that the program has to replace the likes of Jordan Travis who was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.

Travis was the heart and soul of the Seminoles' team since he transferred in from the Louisville Cardinals when head football coach Willie Taggart was still at the helm. There was a large portion of the fan base that questioned Jordan Travis' ability to throw the football downfield over 15+ yards.

However, with the belief of head football coach Mike Norvell and former offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham, Travis defied the odds as both coaches believed in him. Do you see what happens when belief is expressed?

Florida State is turning the page of the Travis era as they brought in former Clemson and Oregon State transfer DJ Uiagalelei to bridge the gap between the younger options on the roster. Not to say that Glenn, Kromenhoek, or Jackson couldn't challenge him for the job, but Uiagalelei looks ready for the challenge.

Uiagalelei has dealt with inconsistencies during his collegiate career, especially with his completion percentage. Head football coach Mike Norvell has been on Seminole Booster tour events and he has expressed how surprised he has been by the development of Uiagalelei progressing in the offense.
