FOUR-STAR IOL PEYTON JOSEPH

Florida State offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has been impressive in recruiting efforts since arriving in Tallahassee. The Seminoles currently have one offensive lineman in five-star interior offensive lineman Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

Atkins has related well with recruits and transfers. Florida State understands that it will likely have to get at least three offensive line prospects with veterans such as Maurice Smith, Darius Washington, and Jeremiah Byers graduating after the 2024 season.

There is one specific offensive lineman recruit to focus on in four-star interior lineman Peyton Joseph from Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. Joseph de-committed from arch-rival Florida Gators and has visited Tallahassee on multiple occasions.

The talented offensive lineman is cousins with current Florida State player TJ Ferguson. The family connection could pay dividends for the Seminoles as he set to decide on July 4th between Memphis and Florida State. Even though the Tigers have his high school quarterback committed (four-star Antwann Hill Jr.), the Seminoles have the crystal ball prediction advantage.
