Let's be honest about Florida State's recruiting efforts. The offensive and defensive trenches need to be solidified in this recruiting cycle. While you do have four-star defensive end Javion Hilson in the fold, there need to be at least three defensive linemen secured in the class.

One prospect that should be monitored is four-star defensive tackle target Jalen Wiggins. It is notable to mention that Wiggins is from Tallahassee and there needs to be an emphasis placed on keeping hometown talent at home.

Unfortunately, he is currently committed to the arch-rival Florida Gators. It is heartbreaking that one of Florida State's biggest rivals went into their territory and took a blue-chip defensive lineman. We know that defensive tackle coach Odell Haggins can develop players, but will he be able to secure recruits anymore?

Wiggins is scheduled to officially visit Tallahassee on the weekend of June 21st, which will be a monumental trip for the four-star prospect. He can always come visit campus any time since he is close by. This will likely a battle that will continue through Signing Day.
