OL ANDRE OTTO

Florida State offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins has a veteran unit in his position for the 2024 season. Even with losing the services of interior offensive linemen Casey Roddick and D'Mitri Emmanuel, there is still potential to be successful for the upcoming campaign.

The Seminoles have the likes of Maurice Smith, Darius Washington, Robert Scott Jr. (if he can stay healthy), Keiondre Jones, Jeremiah Byers, and Julian Armella, among others. However, Florida State might have to place Darius Washington at left tackle if Robert Scott Jr. continues to have injury issues (missing the remainder of the spring).

Washington was one of the best versatile options where he could play offensive tackle, offensive guard, and center. However, if he is "stuck" at tackle then other options have emerge at center if something were to happen with Maurice Smith.

One name that gained some traction is redshirt freshman offensive lineman Andre Otto. During spring practices, Otto has been cross-trained at all of the positions across the line. This could be an option that seems to be valuable when/if injuries occur throughout the season.
