WR DEUCE SPANN

Florida State senior wide receiver Deuce Spann has his last opportunity in Tallahassee as he tries to make the most of what he has to offer for head football coach Mike Norvell and this coaching staff.

The coaching staff has not given up on Spann as Norvell was even seen arguing with the talented playmaker after he had a 15-yard personal foul penalty late in the contest where Florida State was dominating the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes in the 2022 season.

Fans remember the shining moment when the former Illinois transfer had a 99-yard kickoff return versus the Duke Blue Devils where it had a sold-out Doak Campbell Stadium rocking. That return allowed Florida State to allow them to flip the contest in their favor.

I understand that Spann has primarily just been a kickoff returner and it is a completely different mindset to return kicks than return punts. However, the program could use Spann's speed all over the place.
