LB BLAKE NICHELSON

After Thursday's scrimmage, Norvell spoke to the media in regards to sharing his thoughts. One thing that was a bit eye-opening to me was that he talked about the linebacker position with how it was better than he expected.

The linebacker position is having to replace the production of two veterans Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune. Even though senior DJ Lundy decided to return for his final season in Tallahassee, the room lacks proven depth.

It should not be discounted that the Seminoles have talented options there such as Blake Nichelson, Shawn Murphy, Omar Graham Jr., Justin Cryer, and DeMarco Ward.

Norvell mentioned Nichelson as a player who was starting to get up to speed. The talented former four-star prospect was a player that the Seminoles were excited about. The question is now if Nichelson can piece everything together for himself.
