2024 NFL Combine: 5 FSU players that could improve their stock with great performance
By Kelvin Hunt
Renardo Green
Renardo Green might be my biggest sleeper from FSU going into the NFL Combine. Analysts raved about Green at the Senior Bowl and he's had two great back-to-back seasons at FSU. There isn't anything flashy about him. He's 6'0" and 186 pounds. He plays with more physicality than folks think and is a willing tackler in the run game. He rarely gets beat in coverage and went up against some excellent wide receivers over the past two years.
The biggest knock on him is his shorter arms(for his size) and questions about his speed. I'm curious what he'll run now. He ran a 4.61 at a camp in high school with a 37" vertical. His 20-yard shuttle time was 4.20, indicating he's more quick than fast. If he can improve on these times and I think he will after several years in a legit strength and conditioning program at FSU. I could see him going from a projected fifth round to the third round if teams care more about speed than length.
