5. RB ROYDELL WILLIAMS

Florida State will have its hands full replacing the likes of running back Trey Benson, who went on to be selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Seminoles' offense ran through the running game of Benson who consistently created chunk plays when Florida State needed it most. The former Oregon transfer was doubted coming in where he was coming off serious lower-body injuries with the Ducks.

Fans thought that it could be another McKenzie Milton situation where the injuries would impact his play. However, Benson proved those doubters wrong as he accumulated 1,800+ yards and 23 touchdowns during his two seasons at Florida State.

The coaching staff had to go to the transfer portal to get a running back talent in Alabama's Roydell Williams. The senior rusher had 560 yards and five touchdowns during the 2023 season for the Crimson Tide and he looks prime to be the leading rusher for a Seminoles team that needs guidance at the position.
