WR MICAHI DANZY
It is incredible to see head football coach Mike Norvell and offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn continue to use the versatility of wide receiver Micahi Danzy. The dual-sport athlete has a natural role on the team that is fun to watch.
Danzy comes into this matchup with being more than a gadget player. He could be one of the more talented pass catchers on the roster, and that is scary to say for someone who just recently moved from running back to wide receiver.
The Tallahassee native will probably have to make the hard decision down the road between track and football, much like BJ Gibson (who chose baseball). However, I hope that Danzy picks football (selfishly). The redshirt freshman has so much potential with the ball in his hands.
Danzy did not have the eye-popping numbers on Saturday like his counterpart Duce Robinson, but he did have a 66-yard reception early in the fourth quarter that displayed his elite speed. The talented receiver has now eclipsed the 500-yard mark on the year.
The Seminoles will need his play to continue in a game that they need to have on the road against Clemson next week.
